Juniper Green Energy has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) to set up a 230MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) Round the Clock (RTC) project to be connected to the InterState Transmission System in India. The order is to be executed within 24 months from the effective date of the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) to be signed with SECI. The PPA term will be 25 years from the commercial operations date. The project has a contracted capacity of 230 MW under FDRE RTC, at a tariff of Rs 5.26 per unit.
Juniper Green Energy is an independent power producer (IPP) in India which develops, builds, operates and maintains utility scale renewable energy projects through its in-house engineering, procurement and construction and operations and maintenance teams, and generates revenue through the sale of electricity to various off-takers, including central and state government-backed entities.
