Sanginita Chemicals’ arm to invest Rs 7,800 crore in solar expansion

Sanginita Chemicals’ wholly owned subsidiary -- Agastya Green Energy (Agastya Energy) has unveiled plan for a Rs 7,800 crore expansion into integrated 12 GW ingot and wafer manufacturing at Orvakal Industrial Area in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. The expansion will complement the company’s existing solar cell and module manufacturing capabilities. 

The project will establish 12 GW each of integrated ingot and wafer manufacturing capacity, strengthening Agastya Energy’s domestic manufacturing capabilities and enabling greater domestic value addition within India’s solar manufacturing sector.

Sanginita Chemicals is a leading manufacturer and exporters of Cuprous chloride, Cupric cloride and has established itself as a dependable supplier of synthetic resins in the Indian and international market.
