Fire broke out at Jumbo Bag’s Unit II situated at Athipedu Village, Chennai at around midnight on November 23, 2013. The company estimates that 50% of the properties in the factory have been damaged. The plant is covered by insurance. The reason for the fire is yet to be ascertained.
Jumbo Bag mainly produces Jumbo Bags (also known as Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers) in various categories. These bags are custom built to meet the customers’ requirements.
