Omkar Speciality Chemicals has acquired the rights of Plot No. B-15 and B-16, admeasuring about 1,800 square meters situated at Lote Parshuram Industrial Area, Khed taluka, Ratnagiri district. It has also acquired rights of Plot No. D-27/4, admeasuring about 15,030 square meters, situated at Lote Parshuram Industrial Area. This plot is an adjacent plot to the existing Unit No. V (Plot No D-27/5) of the company.
Besides, Urdhwa Chemicals Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Omkar Speciality Chemicals has acquired rights of Plot No. C-4/1, admeasuring about 2,660 square meters, situated at Lote Parshuram Industrial. This plot is an adjacent plot to the existing Plant (Plot No. 04) of the company. It has also acquired rights of Plot No. C-43, admeasuring about 75,000 square meters, situated at Lote Parshuram Industrial Area. This plot is behind to the existing Plant (Plot No C-4) and Plot No C-4/1 of the company.
The aforesaid acquisitions of plots have been made considering the forthcoming expansion projects of the company during the next 5 years.
Omkar Speciality Chemicals is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of speciality chemicals viz., selenium compounds, iodine compounds, molybdenum compounds etc. and pharma intermediates viz., Potassium Iodate, Bismuth Ammonium Citrate, Bromoform etc.
