Canara Bank planning to raise foreign currency funds

Canara Bank is planning to raise foreign currency funds through issuance of Senior Unsecured Foreign Currency Bonds / Medium Term Note (MTN) Bonds under the existing MTN Programme. The Board Meeting of the Bank is scheduled to be held on September 3, 2026, inter-alia, to consider and approve the same. 

Canara Bank is an Indian state-owned bank headquartered in Bangalore, in Karnataka. It was established at Mangalore in 1906, making it one of the oldest banks in the country.
