Ceigall India (CIL) has received Letter of Intent (LoI) from REC Power Development and Consultancy (RECPDCL) for Common Transmission System for evacuation of power from Lakadia (Phase-II: 7.5GW), Jam Khambhaliya (Phase-II: 5.5GW) and Jamnagar (Phase-I: 1GW) - Part-B.
The contract carries a work execution period of 36 months and an operational period of 35 years from the scheduled commissioning date. The contract carries annual transmission charges of Rs 608.67 crore for the 35-years. Total project cost is around Rs 5300 crore (inclusive of GST).
