GK Energy has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company for setting up of 150 MW / 300 MWh of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in Maharashtra with VGF support. The project to be commissioned within 18 months from the date of signing of the Battery Energy Storage Purchase Agreement (BESPA).
The order comprises a tariff of Rs 2,38,000 per MW per month resulting in yearly revenue of Rs 42.84 crore excluding GST for a period of 15 years from the date of commencement of commercial operations.
GK Energy is primarily into the business of design, manufacture, supply, transport, installation, testing and commissioning of decentralized solar systems primarily focused on Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems popularly known as Solar Agricultural Pumps and other ancillary Services.
