NTPC Green Energy’s wholly owned subsidiary -- NTPC Renewable Energy has commenced operation of first part capacity of 81.34 MW of Kalasar Solar Energy Project at Bikaner, Rajasthan out of 650 MW of solar component under 500 MW REMCL RTC Project.
With the addition of this capacity, the total installed capacity of the NTPC Green Energy group has increased to 11,058.57 MW.
NTPC Green Energy is a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC, a ‘Maharatna’ central public sector enterprise. The company is mainly engaged in the activity of developing, building, owning, operating and maintaining utility scale grid connected solar and wind power projects (through O&M operations and in-house engineering).
