Power Finance Corporation’s (PFC) step down wholly owned subsidiary and SPV -- Satara Power Transmission has been transferred to Adani Energy Solutions, the successful bidder. The Satara Power Transmission has been sold for a consideration of around Rs 19.01 crore.

Satara Power Transmission established for the development of ‘Transmission System for Network Expansion Scheme in Western Region to cater to pumped storage potential near Satara (up to 4500 MW) - Part A)’.

Power Finance Corporation is engaged in providing financial assistance to Power Utilities for meeting financing and development requirements of the power sector.
