The Computer Age Management Services (CAMS) and National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) have entered into a collaboration to integrate CAMS Lens into the Regulatory Intelligence module of the NISM Compliance & RegTech Lab. The collaboration brings together NISM’s focus on securities-market education and capacity building with CAMS’ technology and regulatory intelligence capabilities. It is aimed at providing students, faculty members and market professionals with practical exposure to technology-enabled regulatory research and compliance workflows relevant to India’s capital markets.

Established as a technology-driven platform for education, training, simulation, research and innovation in financial-market compliance, the NISM Compliance & RegTech Lab provides a multi-software environment spanning RegTech, risk management, analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning and market-surveillance solutions. Its applied learning model enables participants to work through realistic regulatory scenarios using synthetic identities, transactions and case files.

As a part of the collaboration, the Regulatory Content and Intelligence module of CAMS Lens will be made available across devices in the NISM Compliance & RegTech Lab, with additional access for faculty members. Participants will be able to use the platform to research and understand regulatory and compliance requirements across the capital markets ecosystem, with a primary focus on SEBI-regulated intermediaries.

Computer Age Management Services offers integrated services for receipt, verification and processing of financial and non-financial transactions for the BFSI (banking, financial services and insurance) sector, largely the mutual fund industry.
