Baazar Style Retail has received approval for incorporation of a Wholly Owned Subsidiary (WOS)/Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for undertaking solar power generation and other renewable energy related businesses. The proposed subsidiary shall, inter alia, engage in the business of developing, establishing, acquiring, operating and maintaining solar power generation projects and other renewable energy projects.
The proposed investment is in line with the company's long-term growth strategy, sustainability objectives and commitment towards adoption of renewable energy solutions. The initiative is expected to create a platform for investment in renewable energy projects and generate long-term value for stakeholders.
The Board of Directors of the company, at its meeting held on October 15, 2026, has approved the same.
