HDFC Life Insurance reports 16% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

HDFC Life Insurance Company has reported its results for the second quarter ended September 30, 2026 (Q2FY27).

The company has reported a 13.61% rise in its standalone net profit at Rs 508.00 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, as compared to Rs 447.15 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Net premium income increased by 15.71% to Rs 21,727.37 crore for Q2FY27 as compared to Rs 18,777.31 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

On a consolidated basis, the company has reported a 16.35% rise in its net profit at Rs 521.60 crore for Q2FY27, as compared to Rs 448.29 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Net premium income increased by 15.82% to Rs 21,855.79 crore for Q2FY27 as compared to Rs 18,871.23 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
