Flomic Global Logistics has expanded the storage capacity of its Bhiwandi warehouse by installing a new multi-tier storage structure and long-span pallet racking. These additions help the Company meet rising demand for warehousing in the Bhiwandi region by making better use of its existing facility rather than leasing new space.
This is the second multi-tier installation at Flomic's Bhiwandi facility. The earlier installations were taken on a long-term lease basis, while this is the company's first outright procurement of such a structure. The project was commissioned in July 2026 and completed in September 2026. The ground-plus-three -tier structure adds 15,000 sq. ft. of storage area across three tiers of 5,000 sq. ft. each, taking the effective leasable area from 5,000 sq. ft. to 20,000 sq. ft. on the same footprint. A customer in the quick commerce segment has occupied the space since September 2026.
In September and October 2026, Flomic also installed G+5 level long-span shelving at the Bhiwandi warehouse, adding more than 2,000 pallet positions. With this installation, the warehouse now has the capacity to store approximately 8,000 pallets. An FMCG customer has occupied the new pallet positions since October 2026. These installations reflect Flomic's focus on space optimisation and on building its contract logistics and warehousing capabilities to serve high-growth customer segments.
