Power Mech Projects’ subsidiary -- Power Mech Arabia Contracting Company, incorporated under the laws of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has bagged contract valued at $52,119,109 equivalent to around Rs 492 crore (excluding taxes) from the Joint Venture of the Branch of ‘Elsewedy Electric Power Systems Projects’ and Branch of ‘Sinohydro Corporation’.
Scope of work includes installation of 3 Heat Recovery Steam Generators, 1 Steam Turbine for Block 10 and the Balance of Plant Combined Cycle Piping for Block 20 and Common for the project Rabigh 2 IPP Expansion Project.
The main work is valued at $40,982,353, equivalent to around Rs 386.87 crore, while the optional work is valued at $11,136,756, equivalent to around Rs 105.13 crore, both excluding taxes. The contract period shall be of 20 months effective from January 1, 2027.
