Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals (NFCL) is coming up with customized fertilizer plants in different parts of the country to supply the right kind of manure to the farmer. The company is also taking up several corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities besides producing fertilizers.
The company has applied for natural gas linkage for the third urea unit in the plant with a capacity of 3,860 tonnes a day. Currently, the two urea units in NFCL are producing 16 lakh tonnes a year. The oil refinery of the group at Cuddalore in Tamil Nadu is likely to start production later this year.
Nagarjuna Fertilizers manufactures and markets wide range of fertilizers under the brand ‘Nagarjuna.’ The company also markets a wide range of micronutrients and micronutrient mixes like Zinc Sulphate, Mahazinc etc.
