Axis Bank opens new branch in Jammu and Kashmir: Report

Axis Bank, India’s third largest private sector bank, has reportedly opened a branch at Sopore in the Baramulla district in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. With the opening of this branch, the Bank has now 11 branches in the state. This new branch will offer modern banking products like savings, current and demat accounts, lockers. The bank will also provide investment products, agricultural, auto and home loans as also debit and credit cards.

Axis Bank is the third-largest private sector bank in India. As on June 30, 2013, it had a network of 2021 branches including extension counters and 11,488 automated teller machines (ATMs) across the country.
