SpiceJet cuts fares on select domestic and international routes

In a bid to spur advance bookings ahead of the lean season starting January next year, budget carrier SpiceJet has slashed fares on select domestic and international routes. The company has offered discounts of up to 25% on specified domestic routes on tickets booked on 5-6 December, while on international routes, discounts range were around 15%.

The discount is being offered on base fares and on tickets for travel between December 2013 and March 2014.

SpiceJet is the fourth largest airline and operates over 350 daily flights to over 47 domestic cities and eight international destinations. It has got 19.9% market share.
