Textile machinery manufacturing major Lakshmi Machine Works (LMW) has rolled out compact spinning system, which help in setting new standards in compact spinning technology and improve the efficiency of looms by 10%. The company has unveiled the same on TexFair 2013 platform.
This new compact spinning system can be fitted to the existing machines as well as in new ones. It would cost Rs 1,300 more per spindle. The monthly rollout of the compact spinning system is estimated at 60,000 to 70,000 units.
Lakshmi Machine Works is engaged in the manufacture of textile machinery, machine tools and foundry products. LMW commands a 60% market share in the domestic textile spinning machinery industry.
