Lakshmi Machine Works has concluded a Joint Development (JD) Agreement with Sobha Developers, Bangalore for the design, development and construction of residential apartments at the Company's land situated in Coimbatore. The project is expected to be completed during the financial year 2015-16.

The Director's Report of the Company for the year 2012-13, the Company has initiated the Housing Project in the Company's lands situated in Coimbatore.

Lakshmi Machine Works is engaged in the manufacture of textile machinery, machine tools and foundry products. LMW commands a 60% market share in the domestic textile spinning machinery industry.
