Credit rating agency, CARE has reaffirmed ‘BBB-’ rating to Kriti Nutrients’ Long-term bank facilities worth Rs 56.66 crore which was reduced from Rs 74.32 crore. The rating agency has also reaffirmed ‘BBB-/ A3’ rating to company’s Long-term/Short-term bank facilities worth Rs 20.00 crore which was reduced from Rs 32 crore.
The ratings continue to draw strength from the established operations of the company in the soya-based solvent extraction and refining business, its established brand and marketing network for refined soya oil, its increased focus on value-added soya products and its moderate leverage.
Kriti Nutrients is engaged in the extraction of soya oil and soya de-oiled cake (DOC), refining of crude soya oil and manufacturing of other soya products. The company’s manufacturing facilities are located at Dewas, Madhya Pradesh (MP) with a solvent extraction capacity of 360,000 metric tonne per annum (MTPA) and oil refining capacity of 60,000 MTPA as on March 31, 2013.
