NHPC inks Promoters’ Agreement to form JVC

NHPC, the country’s largest hydro power producer, Government of Odisha and Odisha Hydro Power Corporation have inked a Promoters’ Agreement on December 21, 2013 for formation of a Joint Venture Company (JVC) for implementation of six hydroelectric projects with an aggregate installed capacity of 1020 MW.

NHPC is engaged in the planning, development and implementation of an integrated and efficient network of hydroelectric projects in India. It executes all aspects of the development of hydroelectric projects, from concept to commissioning.
