Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline has offered over a hundred students from the Cochlear Implant Habilitation and Infant Training Centre, and Kamla Dhamshi Narsee Shruti School, a unique educational tour of Jet Airways’ aircraft maintenance hangar at the old Santacruz Airport, at Kalina (Mumbai). The educational excursion was organized in keeping with the airline’s focus on supporting causes relating to child development and education in the community.
At a half-day event held in association with Disney Pixar, RHVG and Sony DADC, the children were given an opportunity to explore a static Boeing 737-aircraft parked at the hangar. Attended by children with hearing impairment, the educational excursion provided them with insights into airline maintenance and operations, while interacting with Jet Airways Engineers, Pilots and Cabin Crew.
To add an element of fun and entertainment, Jet Airways in association with its corporate partners DISNEY PIXAR, RHVG AND SONY DADC, organized several activities at the party venue (Hangar).
