Lanco Infratech (LITL), one of India’s largest integrated infrastructure enterprise’s unit - Lanco Kondapalli Power Plant (LKPPL) situated at Kondapalli Industrial Development Area near Vijayawada, has been awarded the prestigious National Energy Conservation Award 2013 in the award function held recently at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi. As appreciation for their efforts in Energy Conservation through implementation of various energy saving projects, Lanco Kondapalli Power Plant won the National level 1st Prize among Gas based Power plants in the Thermal Power Sector.
This Award scheme instituted by the Ministry of Power, Government of India, has been in operation since 1991 and presented to the best energy performers in respective sectors.
