In the Buildings & Factories Business, the company has bagged new orders worth Rs 1555 crore. A large turnkey order has been bagged from an information technology major for the design and construction of two technology centres and augmentation of existing utility buildings at Bangalore. Another turnkey order is received from Government of Odisha for infrastructure development in three government medical colleges in Cuttack, Sambalpur and Berhampur in Odisha. A prestigious order has also been received from Cochin international Airport (CIAL) to build the new international terminal complex building at Kochi.
The company’s Power Transmission & Distribution Business has bagged new orders worth Rs 258 crore, which includes a turnkey order from Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh for the work of supply, erection, testing and commissioning of a 400 kV double circuit transmiuion line from a proposed 400 kV Jammalamadugu substation in Kadapa district to 400 kV Uravakonda substation in Anantapur district with a route length of 132kms.
In the Water & Renewable Energy business, the company has bagged new orders worth Rs 726 crore. Additional orders worth Rs 423 crores have also been received from various ongoing projects in Metallurgical a Material Handling, Heavy Civil and Transportation infrastructure Businesses of L&T construction.
