Workmen at Caprihans India’s factory at Nashik have called-off strike and resumed their work from January 11, 2014. Earlier, Workmen had resorted to an illegal strike from December 18, 2013, without notice. Due to inter rivalry of two unions the smooth functioning in the factory was jeopardize.
Caprihans India is a Public Limited company that became a part of EVC group in 1997. EVC was acquired by the INEOS group in 2001. Caprihans India Limited is today a part of the INEOS Films Group.
