Credit rating agency, CARE Ratings along with four other rating agencies from Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America has launched a new credit rating outfit ARC Ratings S.A. The network-based rating agency would provide credit rating services to cross-border corporates in terms of accessing global capital.
ARC will rate sovereign debt, financial institutions, non-financial corporations as well as structured products. It, however, would not follow the traditional division of rating scales into investment / non-investment grades.
CARE is a second largest full service credit rating company in India, offering rating and grading services across a diverse range of instruments and industries including IPO grading, equity grading, and grading of various types of enterprises, including shipyards, maritime training institutes, construction companies and rating of real estate projects, among others.
