Reliance Power gains on commencing commercial operations at second unit of Sasan UMPP

Reliance Power is currently trading at Rs. 64.35, up by 0.55 points or 0.86% from its previous closing of Rs. 63.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 64.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 64.70 and Rs. 64.20 respectively. So far 69,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 95.55 on 29-Jan-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 58.55 on 28-Mar-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 68.75 and Rs. 63.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 18,050.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.98% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.68% and 13.31% respectively.

Reliance Power has commenced commercial operations at the second 660MW unit of the 3,960 MW (6X660 MW) Sasan Ultra Mega Power Plant (UMPP) being developed by Sasan Power, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company.

Reliance Power is a part of the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group and is established to develop, construct and operate power projects domestically and internationally.
