Future & Option (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 2,04,729.21 crore on January 29 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 66,45,309.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 13,585.86 crore, Stock Futures Rs 33,905.38 crore and Index Options Rs 1,44,436.43 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 12,801.53 crore.
For the day, the total F&O PutCall ratio stood at 0.98, while Index Options PutCall ratio was 1.02 and that of Stock Options was 0.63.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were DR Reddy 3.62, HCL Tech 2.12, Infosys 2.10, HDFC 1.54 and IOC 1.44.
Among most active underlying, Maruti Suzuki witnessed contraction of 0.83 million of Open Interest in the January month futures contract, followed by ICICI Bank witnessing contraction of 1.72 million of Open Interest in the January month contract; SBI witnessed contraction of 1.37 million of Open Interest in the January month futures. Infosys witnessed contraction of 0.41 million of Open Interest in the January month contract and Auro Pharma witnessed contraction of 0.23 million in Open Interest in the near month futures contract.
