Escorts, one of India’s leading engineering conglomerates in agri machinery segment (EAM) sold 4,742 tractors in January 2014, showing growth of 10.30% against 4,300 tractors sold in January 2013. Domestic tractor sales in January 2014 stood at 4,695 tractors as against of 4,270 tractors in January 2013, a growth of 10% over last year. Export for the month of January 2014 stood at 47 tractors as that of 30 tractors in January 2013.
Escorts offer a comprehensive range of tractors with more than 45 variants starting from 25 to 80 HP. The company also manufactures and markets a diverse range of equipments like cranes, loaders, vibratory rollers and forklifts.
