Jet Airways continue its declines on poor Q3 numbers

Jet Airways (India) is currently trading at Rs. 225.00, down by 3.25 points or 1.42% from its previous closing of Rs. 228.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 230.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 232.45 and Rs. 224.35 respectively. So far 1,32,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 688.60 on 25-Apr-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 210.25 on 05-Feb-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 239.15 and Rs. 210.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2,561.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 10.50% and 38.50% respectively.

The company has reported a net loss of Rs 267.89 crore for third quarter ended December 31, 2013 as compared to net profit of Rs 85 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company has increased by 10.63% at Rs 4703.33 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 4251.22 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2012

Jet Airways currently operates a fleet of 113 aircraft, which include 10 Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft, 10 Airbus A330-200 aircraft, 4 Airbus A330-300 aircraft, 72 next generation Boeing 737-700/800/900/900 ER aircraft and 15 ATR 72-500 and 2 ATR72-600.
