Yes Bank launches ‘Say Yes to Women’s Safety’ campaign

Yes Bank, India’s fourth largest private sector bank, in association with a non-profit organization, CARE India, has invited the London-based self-defence expert, Debi Steven and her highly trained team from Action Breaks Silence to launch a nation-wide campaign- ‘Say Yes to Women’s Safety’. The campaign was flagged off by Vijay Vatkar, Deputy Commissioner of Police - Security, Mumbai Police and Chitra Pandeya, Senior President and Country Head, Liabilities, Cards & Direct Banking, YES BANK and was attended by women from leading NGOs, media, corporates, faculty and students from various colleges across Mumbai.

This week, Debi, one of the world’s leading self-defence instructors and the founder of not-for-profit company, Action Breaks Silence, is giving personal safety talks and self-defence demonstrations to over five hundred working women in Delhi and Mumbai.

Yes Bank has reported 21.41% rise in its net profit at Rs 415.60 crore for third quarter ended December 31, 2013 as compared to Rs 342.31 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank has increased by 18.60% at Rs 2902.00 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 2446.83 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2012.
