Apollo Hospitals plans to invest Rs 2000 crore on capacity upgrade: Report

Leading healthcare provider, Apollo Hospitals is reportedly planning to investment Rs 2000 crore in the next 2-3 years for adding 2000 new beds. The company is also planning to set up 10 new 'Apollo Reach' hospitals in smaller cities like Nasik, Nellore and Trichy. Currently, the company has 54 hospitals across the country and is treating over one million patients every quarter.

Apollo Hospitals is the leading private sector healthcare provider in Asia and owns and manages a network of speciality hospitals and clinics, a chain of Pharmacy retail outlets across the country, and provides Consultancy Services for commissioning and managing the Speciality Hospitals.
