IL&FS Transportation Networks in Joint Venture (JV) with Elsamex SA, wholly owned subsidiary of the Company in Spain has received a contract from Roads Department Ministry of Transport and Communications, Republic of Botswana under Output and Performance Based Road Contracts system (OPRC) for a period of 10 years effective February 19, 2014. The total length of the road to be maintained for the contract is 267.4 kms for a total value of $216.7 million (approximately Rs 1,348.52 crore), which are being financed by the World Bank.
