Ashoka Buildcon emerges as lowest bidder for 2 projects worth Rs 292.03 crore

Ashoka Buildcon has emerged as the lowest bidder for the two projects at the bid opening meeting held on February 21, 2014. The aggregate cost of the projects is Rs 292.03 crore. The company had submitted its bids to The Public Works Department, Government of Maharashtra represented by Chief Engineer (National Highways) engaged by Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MORTH). The projects had been invited on Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC) basis.

The company had submitted bids for rehabilitation and up-gradation of NH-222 from end of Malshej Ghat to start of Ane Ghat Section in the State of Maharashtra to two lanes with paved shoulders under NHDP Phase - IV A & B on EPC basis and rehabilitation and up-gradation of Ane-Ghat to start of Ahmednagar bypass section of NH-222 in the State of Maharashtra to two lanes with paved shoulders under NHDP - IV, on EPC basis.

Ashoka Buildcon builds and operates roads and bridges in India on a build, operate and transfer (BOT) basis. It currently operates one of the highest numbers of toll-based BOT projects in India.
