Petron Engineering Construction surges on receiving LoI for contract worth Rs 196 crore

Petron Engineering Construction is currently trading at Rs. 89.95, up by 6.65 points or 7.98% from its previous closing of Rs. 83.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 90.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 91.00 and Rs. 89.95 respectively. So far 381 shares were traded on the counter.

Petron Engineering Construction has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) dated February 19, 2014 from JBF Petrochemicals, Mangalore for Composite works comprising Civil, Structural, Underground Piping, Buildings, Mechanical Piping, Insulation, Painting, Electrical & Instrumentation works for its JBF PTA OSBL Project at Mangalore for an approximately contract value of Rs 196.00 crore plus service tax.
