Kamat Hotels (India) is aiming tier-II cities in the South for expansion. The company is focusing on expanding its base through the franchisee route under the VITS brand. In this regard, the company’s first franchise property at Tirupur is scheduled to open on March 1, 2014. The company already operates hotels under the VITS brand at Pune, Nashik, Bhubaneswar, Aurangabad and Mumbai.
Moreover, the company is close of signing two other deals in Andhra Pradesh and expanding its base in towns such as Madurai and Salem in Tamil Nadu soon.
