NHPC’s Unit 4 of Uri-II HE Project (4X60 MW), pursuant to successful trial run has been declared commercially operational with effect from March 01, 2014. The Unit 1 & 3 and Unit 2 of the project are already under commercial operation with effect from October 11, 2013 and December 01, 2013 respectively.

NHPC is engaged in the planning, development and implementation of an integrated and efficient network of hydroelectric projects in India. It executes all aspects of the development of hydroelectric projects, from concept to commissioning.
