Mahindra Defence Naval Systems aims to double its top-line

Mahindra Defence Naval Systems (MDNS), subsidiary of Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) is planning to double its top-line and eyeing significant growth from its defence manufacturing products. The company had posted revenue of Rs 20 crore in the current financial year.

The company currently has inaugurated its new underwater systems and naval applications manufacturing facility in Chakan, near Pune. The company’s new facility will enhance its advanced manufacturing expertise in the area of naval defence systems.

The new plant will support the naval defence business of Mahindra Defence Systems, which already has a land and radar systems business that operates from Prithla, near Faridabad.

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) is the flagship company of the Mahindra Group, a multinational conglomerate based in Mumbai, India. Amongst the various business interests of its parent group, the company is mainly involved in the automobile manufacturing. It is one of the leading auto companies of India.
