Prism Cement shines on starting coal production at Coal Mine in Madhya Pradesh

Prism Cement is currently trading at Rs. 29.00, up by 0.65 points or 2.29% from its previous closing of Rs. 28.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 28.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 29.25 and Rs. 28.20 respectively. So far 38703 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 47.40 on 02-May-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 22.80 on 14-Feb-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 29.25 and Rs. 25.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1437.08 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.87% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 5.83% and 19.30% respectively.

Prism Cement has started production of coal at the Prism Coal Mine in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh. The company has been granted all statutory clearances for the operation of the Coal Mine. Besides, the mined coal will be used for captive consumption of the cement plant located at Satna in state of Madhya Pradesh.
