KEC International is planning to sell seven-acre plot in Thane where it has its cable manufacturing facility. The plot is likely to be purchased by Tata Housing for Rs 210 crore. The due-diligence has been on for the last three months, and the deal is likely to be concluded this month.
The company is exploring various options to deal with the land as the facility is now relocated to Vadodara.
KEC International is a global infrastructure Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) major. It has a presence in the verticals of power transmission, power systems, cables, railways, telecom and water.
