Corporation Bank has open 109 branches and 109 ATMs in order to mark its 109th Foundation Day on March 12, 2014. The bank has also launched an e-Passbook and Corp Global Card (a pre-paid forex travel card) on the occasion.
Corp e-Passbook, which is launched on the Android platform, allows customers to download and view the account of transactions on mobile phones while Corp Global Card helps travellers to load funds in eight different currencies on a single card.
Corporation Bank is a Mangalore-based mid-sized public sector bank which was established in 1906. Government of India is the majority shareholder holding 59.82% stake in the bank. As on March 31, 2013, the bank has 1707 branches and 1425 ATMs.
