IL&FS Transportation Networks has commenced the commercial operations (tolling activities) at Four Laning of Narketpally - Addanki - Medarametla Road (SH-2) in the State of Andhra Pradesh effective March 11, 2014. The project is on toll basis with a concession period of 24 years, including two and half a years of construction period.
The said project was awarded to the Joint Venture of Ramky Infrastructure and IL&FS Transportation Networks in the ratio of 50:50 by the Andhra Pradesh Road Development Corporation.
IL&FS Transportation Networks has been involved in the development, operation and maintenance of national and state highways, roads (including urban roads), flyovers and bridges in Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Jharkhand and Rajasthan.
