Financial Technologies trades higher on the bourses

Financial Technologies (India) is currently trading at Rs. 379.00, up by 3.25 points or 0.86% from its previous closing of Rs. 375.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 374.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 387.30 and Rs. 370.00 respectively. So far 229282 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 870.30 on 28-May-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 102.05 on 30-Aug-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 400.00 and Rs. 357.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1763.89 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 45.63% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.85% and 35.43% respectively.

Laxmi Shivanand Mankekar, a well-known investor has acquired 6.50 lakh shares in Financial Technologies for Rs 24.7 crore through open market route. Mankekar has bought shares from Om Kedar Investments at an average price of Rs 380 apiece, amounting the transaction to Rs 24.7 crore.

This is the second time in nearly a week that Mankekar has acquired shares of Financial Technologies. The investor on March 13 picked up 7 lakh scrips of Financial Technologies for Rs 27.23 crore from Om Kedar Investments.
