Kokuyo Camlin has received an approval to exit from non-core business of pre-school by divesting entire holding in its 100% subsidiary ‘Camlin AlphaKids’ by way of sole of shares to Dilip Dandekar and his family members including his Associate companies, who hold 5.38% shares in Kokuyo Camlin out of the total promoter & promoter group holding of 74.98%. The board of directors at its meeting held on March 20, 2014 has approved for the same.
Kokuyo Camlin makes a range of stationery products for four segments - children, office professionals, artists and those pursuing different hobbies. Nearly 65 percent of the company’s turnover is from the school segment, 25 percent from the office segment, and the rest from others.
