Prism Cement’s division plans to foray into luxury bathroom biz

H&R Johnson (India), a division of Prism Cement and world’s seventh largest tile company is making a formal foray in India’s luxury bathroom product market. As part of this business foray, the company will roll-out super-premium and luxury bathroom products across its entire range of wall, floor and vitrified tiles as well as in the sanitaryware business. The company will begin the market roll-out of its luxury products from December-end. 

The company plans to roll-out 30 new super-premium products under Johnson Digital under the luxury tile business while, it will launch Marbonite GVT Infinity product line as part of its luxury portfolio in the vitrified segment. Capitalizing on its brand equity in the Indian market, H&R Johnson's luxury products are expected to command a 30% premium on the pricing front.
