Adani Power is planning to commission entire 4,620-MW proposed thermal power capacity at Mundra by February. The company had set up four units of 330 MW each at Mundra in the initial phases.
The fourth 660 MW super critical unit of the project will be commissioned this month with the final and fifth of such units to be on stream in February.
Earlier in November, the company announced that it is planning to augment its capacity to 5,500 MW from present 3,300 MW by March next year and 10,000 MW by March 2013. However, the company has not revealed the details on its capacity expansion plans.
