Escorts, one of India’s leading engineering conglomerates in agri machinery segment (EAM) sold 6,187 tractors in March 2014, showing marginal growth of 0.50% against 6,159 tractors in March 2013.
Domestic sales in March 2014 down marginally by 0.59% stood at 6,087 factors as against 6,123 tractors in March 2013. Export for the month of March 2014 rose significantly by 177.77% to 100 tractors as against 36 tractors sold in March 2013.
Escorts offer a comprehensive range of tractors with more than 45 variants starting from 25 to 80 HP. The company also manufactures and markets a diverse range of equipments like cranes, loaders, vibratory rollers and forklifts.
