Ashoka Buildcon soars as its arm receives fourth tranche of investment of Rs 133 crore

Ashoka Buildcon is currently trading at Rs. 80.95, up by 5.55 points or 7.36% from its previous closing of Rs. 75.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 76.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 81.90 and Rs. 75.00 respectively. So far 5977 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 83.32 on 13-May-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 41.30 on 06-Aug-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 81.90 and Rs. 70.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1184.65 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 67.59% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 17.86% and 14.56% respectively.

Ashoka Buildcon’s subsidiary Ashoka Concessions (ACL), has received its fourth tranche of investment of Rs 133 crore from SBI Macquarie. The fund will be utilized for equity investment into various under construction projects.

Including this tranche, the total equity investment by SBI-Macquarie in ACL is Rs 623 crore and balance would be received as per equity requirements of projects under construction.

Ashoka Buildcon currently has a portfolio of 25 BOT projects of which 20 are revenue generating as of date. Ashoka Concessions has a portfolio of seven toll roads including six national highway projects.
