Gujarat Themis Biosyn has paid an amount of Rs 31.00 lakh to Gujarat Industrial Investment Corporation (GIIC) as full and final settlement payment towards their unsecured loan of Rs. 26.00 lakh & Rs 5 lakh paid as goodwill.
Earlier as on January 12, 2012, the BIFR directed GIIC to accept principal amount of unsecured loan of Rs. 26.00 lakh in three equal yearly installments commencing from April 01, 2011.
Gujarat Themis Biosyn’s principal activity is to manufacture and distributes pharmaceuticals bulk drugs called rifampicin produced by fermentation process. The company's products include preparations of active pharmaceutical ingredient rifampicin and lovastatin. The company exports its products to Europe and the United States.
