Vishal Malleables was incorporated as a private limited company under the companies act 1956 on November 11, 1974 as Vishal Malleables PVT. Ltd. It was converted into Public Limited Company vide special resolution passed on August 24, 1977.The commercial production of the company started in December 1978.
Vishal Malleables Ltd. (VML) is a modern mechanised Iron foundry, manufacturing malleable, spheroidal graphite cast iron (ductile iron) and graded gray iron castings. Presently, it manufactures 8000 M. T. castings in the weight range of individual casting weight of .04 Kgs. to 45 Kgs.
Over the period of time, the company has established specific products, viz. Ductile Iron Flanges and Insulator Metal Parts catered to Insulator manufacturers in India and overseas, automobile components, raw as well as fully machined to auto giants in India, i.e. Telco, Mahindra & Mahindra. railway inserts to Indian Railways for track construction, 25 KV A. C. Traction OHE fittings for Indian Railway's Transmission line Hardware to Power Transmission Sector in India and abroad and having made breakthrough in manufacture and supply of Aluminium Alloy Flanges in Finished - Machined and Anodised - condition to Insulator Manufacturers.
Segments of Industries Served by the company includes, Automobile and Farm Equipment Industries, Electrical Insulator Manufacturers of power transmission,overhead Electric Traction Line for Railways, Inserts for prestressed concrete sleepers, Large and Varied industrial Equipment Manufacturers and Aluminium Based Non Ferrous castings.
